Job well done.
That is why I use Screen Builders because you are Only the Best! Thank you for always going above and beyond for Ellemar and my clients. Most companies won’t see their emails until tomorrow. Very much appreciated Debbie. Have a good night.

I needed to replace my deteriorating screen porch enclosure. I initially contacted a different company that one of my neighbors had used and received a quote, but when I asked some questions about the quote they decided they were too busy to do the job. I found Screen Builders on Angie's List. I contacted them via e-mail and received a quick response. Most of my communication with them was via e-mail, mostly with Debbie Demarco. Debbie was usually pretty quick to reply to e-mail. Jim came out to get measurements for a quote about a week after I first contacted Screen Builders, and Debbie e-mailed me the quote the next day. It was quite a bit higher than the previous quote I had received, but included better materials and a building permit. I asked Debbie about an Angie's List discount, and she told me she would give me a discount when I'm ready, but didn't tell me how much When I pressed her, she told me she would give me a $150 discount. I decided to go with Screen Builders rather than looking for a third quote. Debbie e-mailed me the contract and paperwork I needed to get HOA approval for the work, and I obtained HOA approval within a couple of days. Debbie then asked me to send her the signed contract with a deposit (50%), which I did. A day or two later, I received a hard copy of the original (unsigned) contract in the mail, and Debbie said I needed to sign and return that one too, along with a survey. I e-mailed her a survey from my closing and mailed the signed contract. Several days later I received more paperwork in the mail, needed to get a building permit, so I signed those forms and mailed them back. It would have been a lot easier if I had received all the paperwork at once so I could mail everything back together. I mentioned to Debbie that I was going to be out of town for a week, so if she needed anything from me, to let me know before then. While I was away, I received a voicemail message from one of the engineers (a different Jim) who wanted to take final measurements for the enclosure. The message said Jim was planning to come the same day, a couple hours later. I called him back and told him I was out of town so he couldn't come until the following week. He said he would let the office know and they would get back to me the following Monday to reschedule. I didn't hear from anyone, so I contacted Debbie about a week later, and she told me they were still waiting for the building permit. About a week after that I contacted Debbie again to ask about the permit; I also told her that I would be out of town again, and the work would need to be completed in about two weeks from that point, otherwise they would have to wait I was back. The next day Debbie informed me that they got the permit and they would schedule someone to take final measurements. Jim #2 contacted me the next day and came out the following day to take measurements. A few days later I was called to schedule the actual work, so we scheduled it for two days later. I was expecting the crew to arrive between 9:00-9:30 that morning, and the crew of one (Israel) arrived around 8:30. I asked him if anyone else was joining him, but he said this job only required one person. I brought him around back to the porch, and the first thing he said was that he didn't know he was also removing an enclosure (even though that was on the contract). He said he could handle it, and got right to work. The work took about 4 hours. The quality of the new enclosure is much better than the original one, and seems to be installed very securely. There are a few minor cosmetic issues with the alignment of the center horizontal beam, but not enough to bother anyone. The screen door sticks a little when you open it, but it's not a big deal. Israel cleaned everything up really well and didn't mess up any of the landscaping or mulch outside the enclosure. Overall, I think the quality of the work and materials was very good. I thought Screen Builders was a bit disorganized and could have done a better job keeping me up to date, but at least they responded quickly to my e-mails. I would consider using them again, but I would also get a quote from one of the other highly-rated providers on Angie's List before making that decision.

Screen Builders built a patio enclosure and a fence (for a pool that was under construction). I had to schedule them in between the pool construction and the code inspections for that project, and their performance was flawless and professional in every instance. The fence beautifully follows the radius of the curved rear property line. My wife and I are extremely happy with the work that was done and the attention to detail that Screen Builders displayed during the installation. Screen Builders did the measurements and prefabricated the materials in their own shop, for quick installation. They were well versed on the code requirements of our municipality and passed all inspections effortlessly.

They constructed a screened enclosure on a concrete pad as an extension of the existing porch. They took care of the engineering drawings, permitting, and the entire construction process from start to finish. Overall it well very well. They are extremely responsive, especially Debbie DeMarco the salesperson. The price was high but not unreasonable. And the job was well done so it was worth it.

This company did the highest possible quality job as far as I'm concerned as evidenced by the pool enclosure still in top perfect shape. Not a ripple in any of the screens - everything is still perfect. They set expectations and exceeded them as far as timeliness, they had actual professional surveyors come to measure everything perfectly. My patio is oddly shaped, and they had to make way to pour new concrete around and it's still perfect. It was pricy, but you get what you pay for and it was the going rate at the time for superior quality. This job included 3 doors, the concrete all around, all the permitting etc. No glitches whatsoever. Screen Builders set expectations, and exceeded them. They cleaned up after themselves, and there were no problems at all. Highly recommended.

Installed front door screen enclosure. GREAT !!

Screen Builders extended our patio from appro. 900 sq. ft. to about 2000 sq. ft. and then screened in the entire space. They had to dig up the existing footer around the perimeter and replace with a stronger one which was a lot of work. They worked quickly and efficiently . They did a great job. Very nice people. See above.
